Who Are We?
MediaCrime is made up of four guys who love to play. All are veterans of the New York Metro original music scene. Eddie Havoc, on vocals and guitar, blends performing and song writing styles mixing rock, punk, folk and garage/psychedelic influences. John Mazza, on drums and vocals, has been playing in original bands since he began to play. A devote of the seminal alternative/college radio sound, he goes beyond being merely a "drummer" and is involved in arranging and the band’s artwork. Harry Strole, on guitar and vocals, is once again a member of MediaCrime. Harry's musical inluences include Andy Partridge of XTC and Neil Young. His return to the band has further diversified the group's eclectic arsenal. Wayne Lynch joined the band in the summer of 2006. Wayne brings a new perspective to the Media Crime family. Playing in bands on and off for the last 27 years on both guitar and bass, Wayne returned to his first love the bass guitar. His passion of the jam band scene , ability to improvise and play in the pocket will further enhance Media Crime's original sound.
Pauli Dangerousli and Frank Orlando have left MediaCrime but not without leaving their mark as well. Both are pursuing new projects; Pauli near his upstate NY home and Frank in South West Florida where he recently relocated. Once a MediaCriminal...always a MediaCriminal. Best of luck Pauli and Frank...
