Who Are We?
MediaCrime is made up of four guys who love to write and play high energy songs. All are veterans of the New York Metro original/underground music scene. Eddie Havoc, on vocals and guitar, blends performing and song writing styles mixing rock, punk, folk and garage/psychedelic influences. John Mazza, on drums and vocals, has been playing in original bands since he began to play. A devote of the seminal alternative/college radio sound, he goes beyond being merely a "drummer" and is involved in arranging and the band’s artwork. From the UK; Derek Luce, on guitar and vocals, joined MediaCrime in 2008, bringing with him a bag of great songs. Pete Manolakis joined the band Jan 2009. Pete brings additional energy to the Mediacrime family. Playing for the last 20 years on both guitar and bass, Pete is focused on on the bass guitar. His passion in the jam scene, ability to shout, improvise and play in the pocket, further enhances Mediacrime's original sound.
